Patricia "Pat" Jean Joiner, 70, of Lakeland died Sunday July 2, 2017 at SGMC.

She was born November 17, 1946 in Berrien County to the late Lawton Henry Gaskins and the late Audrey Florine Gray Gaskins. She was a homemaker, cashier with the former Five Points Grocery & Market, and a supervisor with Lowe's Distribution Center. She was a member of Mathis Chapel and was preceded in death by a daughter: Brenda Strickland and a brother: Lawton Lavern Gaskins.

She is survived by her husband: Harvie Glendon "Glen" Joiner of Lakeland; son: Steve (Christie) Joiner of Mountain City, TN; daughter: Angie (Jim) Fleenor of Kingsport, TN; son-in-law: Darryl Strickland of Blackshear; sister: Linda Barrentine of Lake Park; brother: Bobby Gaskins of Valdosta; 5 grandchildren: Andrea Fleenor of Kingsport, TN, Brad (Charissa) Strickland of Blackshear, Tyler Strickland of Blackshear, Stephen (Brittany) Joiner of Lexington, KY and Jayden Joiner of Mountain City, TN.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 5, 2017 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddie Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 PM until hour of services.
