Obituary

Evelyn Patricia "Patsy" Adams, 78, of Nashville, died Thursday November 18, 2021, at her residence.

She was born April 17, 1943 in Grady County to the late Holmes Giddens and the late Evelyn Trulock Giddens. She was a billing specialist with Nemours Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL and South Georgia Medical Center. She was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church and while living in Jacksonville, FL, was a founding member of the Fleming Island Presbyterian Church. She was a majorette with the University of Georgia Redcoats, member of the Kappa Alpha Theta at UGA, loved musical concerts, reading and all animals. She won the Ms. Georgia Poultry Princess in 1961, Miss Deep South Beauty pageant in 1961, participated in the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant. She was preceded in death by a step son: Butch Adams.

She is survived by her husband: William "Bill" Adams of Nashville; 3 daughters: Jan Elizabeth (Scott) Gray of Madison, Patti Woodward (David) Seaton of Statham and Catherine "Missy" (Jim) Errickson of Green Cove Springs, FL; step son: Steve (Joella) Adams of Nashville; sister: Margaret Ann Ebmeyer of Alpharetta; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Her family will honor her request for cremation. A public visitation will be held on Saturday November 20, 2021 from 2 to 3 PM at Lovein Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cross Critters (716 Adel Road, Nashville, GA 31639) or Hearts to Homes (1111 Exum Road, Nashville, GA 31639)
