Peggy Horne Gaskins, 65, of Nashville died Wednesday September 16, 2020 at her residence.

She was born April 13, 1955 in Thomas County to the late Edwin Forrest Horne and the late Hazel Williams Horne.  She was a retired educator with the Berrien County Board of Education as a first grade teacher, math and literacy coach after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Doug Gaskins of Nashville; two sisters: Kathy Palmer and Libbi Howell both of Thomasville; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday September 18, 2020 at 11 AM in the Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Addington officiating. There will be no formal visitation.  Pallbearers will be Will Palmer, Will Gaskins, Travis Dorsey, Joe Dorsey, Sam Drew, Robert Curry, Gary Benjamin and Rick Fennell. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Nashville United Methodist Church.
