Peggy Lorene Rowe, 82, of Nashville died Tuesday March 31, 2020 at her residence.

She was born January 12, 1938 in Lowndes County to the late Jim Anderson and the late Leona Watley Anderson.  She was employed with Levi Strauss in Valdosta for 30 years as a seamstress and a member of Flat Creek Church.  She loved her family, having a good time, gardening, yard work and fishing.

She is survived by her husband: Charles Rowe of Nashville; two daughters: Wendy (Scott) Woodham of Wellborn, FL and Rachel (Ricky) Newton of Ocilla; one son: Charlie (Jill) Rowe of Cochran; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and one brother: Billy Anderson of Nashville.

A private graveside funeral service will be held Thursday April 2, 2020 in Flat Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Swain and the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Flat Creek Church or South Georgia Hospice.
