Peggy Diane Wade, 67, of Nashville died Friday June 3, 2016 at her residence.
She was born August 2, 1948 in Cook County to the late Archie Will Crumpton and the late Hazel Butler Crumpton. She retired from Nashville Textile as a seamstress, was a member of Ruth Forester Missionary Baptist Church and attended Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She was the widow of Thomas Edward "Ed" Wade who died in 2011. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Gail Alliwine and Wanda Reynolds; brother: Jimmy Crumpton.
She is survived by 2 sons: Tommy (Angie) Wade of Nashville and Jamie Wade of West Berrien; 4 granddaughters: Shelby, Katie, Maygon, and Taylor Wade; a great granddaughter: Paisley; 2 nieces: Rhonda (Ken) Lewis of Adel and Holly (Bill) Ritter of Nashville; 3 great nieces: Courtney Lewis, Hannah and Hope Ritter; great nephew: Dorsey Lewis; 2 brothers: Wayne Crumpton of Atlanta and Jerry Stetz of Fitzgerald; and sister: Polly Griffin of Lenox.
Funeral services will be held Sunday June 5, 2016 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke and the Rev. Landon Alberson officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Cook County. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
