Jeffery Pernell McCorvey, 61, of Nashville, died Friday, February 20, 2026, at Navicent Health in Macon.

He was born February 23, 1964, in Berrien County to the late Marvin Harold McCorvey and the late Murdell Hale McCorvey. He was a heavy equipment operator with the Berrien County Road Department. He was a wonderful husband, loved his family and a devoted "PaPa". He enjoyed fishing, going on his "road trips", Nascar and attended A'Neway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son: Alex McCorvey; brother: Donald McCorvey; father-in-law: Rev. Bobby Dubose.

He is survived by his wife: Jo Ann Dubose McCorvey of Nashville; daughter: Morgan (Austin) Boyd of Nashville; 2 grandsons: Xander and Kreed; 2 sisters: Gwen (Gary) Smith of Moultrie and Faye (Randall) Foxworth of Pine Mountain; brother: Randy (Brenda) McCorvey of Nashville; mother-in-law: Brenda Dubose of Alapaha; sisters-in-law: Deborah McCorvey of Nashville and Jeanette Eason of Alapaha; brother-in-law: Dairel Dubose of Alapaha; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
