Phyllis Waters' Obituary
Phyllis Waters, 70, of Valdosta, died Sunday January 22, 2017 at her residence.
She was born April 23, 1946 in Lowndes County to the late L.A. Browning and the late Sue Gaskins Browning. She was a retired clerk for Lowndes County Commission and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Kenneth Waters of Valdosta; daughter: Janna (Don) Luke of Valdosta; son: Ken (Margaret) Waters, Jr of Sugar Hill; 2 brothers: Rodney Browning of Brooks and Al Browning of Nashville; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 26, 2017 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Alford officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday one hour prior to the service.
