Quincy Wayne McMillan, 67, of Adel, died Sunday February 28, 2016 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta.
He was born February 28, 1949 in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Lawton Ray McMillan and Leola Luke McMillan. He was a textile owner of L&M Supply and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Diane McMillan who died in 2014.
He is survived by his son: Quinton (Patti) McMillan of Adel; mother: Leola McMillan of Alapaha; 2 sisters: Shirley Durden of Alapaha and Sandra Parrish of Alapaha; 4 brothers: Danny McMillan of Alapaha, Bill McMillan of Lenox, Perry McMillan of Ocala, FL and James McMillan of GA.; 3 grandchildren: Brooke, Chase and Avri.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 3, 2016 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev Mickey Lindsey and the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday from 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Flat Creek Youth Ministries.
