Obituary

Raymond H. Roland, 81, of Nashville, died Sunday March 27, 2022 at Select Speciality Hospital in Tallahassee, FL.

He was born July 27, 1940 in Berrien County to the late Luther Thomas Roland and the late Ora Mae Rowan Roland. He was a farmer, worked at Adel Feed & Seed for 20 years, and loved to fish. He was the owner of Roland Pride Syrup for over 50 years and shipped his cane syrup all over the United States. He was a member of Flat Creek Church.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Betty Jo Brown Roland of Nashville; son: Kenny Roland of Nashville; 2 daughters: Anna (Breman) Rudeseal of Alapaha and Kim (David) Nix of Nashville; 3 sisters: Laverne Putnal of Tifton, Louve Pafford of Nashville and Ora Lee Thornton of Monroe; 3 grandsons: Brian, Brandan (Miranda)and Brad Rudeseal; 7 great grandchildren; 3 other grandsons: Gunner, Hunner and Tunner Taylor; special niece: Angie Parrish of Adel; several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 30, 2022 at 2 PM in Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mark Swain and Rev. Thomas Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
