Rebecca Jean Fletcher, 66, of Ray City, died Tuesday April 13, 2021 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 29, 1955 in Lowndes County to the late Lee Roy Brown and Ruth Anita Jackson Brown. She was a retired accountant with Wilkinson Textile in Valdosta and was the widow of Wallace Ritchie Fletcher who died in 2005. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Sharon Tucker.

She is survived by a daughter: Dee Anna Faulkner of Ray City; son: Wallace R. (Christi) Fletcher II of Tifton; mother: Anita Brown of Lake Park; 5 grandchildren: Madison Kinsley, James Faulkner III, Joshua Faulkner, Jordan Faulkner and Caroline Fletcher; sister: Nancy Brown of Lake Park; 5 brothers: Randall Brown of Jennings, FL, Lamar Brown of Lake Park, Thomas Brown of Jennings, FL, Joseph Brown of Lake Park, Steven Brown of Lake Park; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday April 18, 2021 at 4 PM in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bonnie Squire officiating. Visitation will be Sunday in the funeral home from 3 PM to 3:45 PM.
