Rebecca Gaskins Stone, 48, of Forsyth, died Thursday, January 30, 2025, in the Monroe County Hospital.

She was born November 6, 1976, in Valdosta, GA to the late Alvah William "Al" Gaskins III and Rebecca Beard Gaskins. She was the past CEO/President of the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce for 4 years and member and past president of the Monroe County Rotary Club. She loved her family, her dogs and spending time on the family farm. She was preceded in death by a brother: Alvah William "Bill" Gaskins, IV.

She is survived by her husband: Todd Stone of Forsyth; 4 daughters: Maggie Smart of Nashville, Isabel Stone of Macon, Amelia Stone of Forsyth and Brianna Guess of Athens; 2 sons: Will Smart of Nashville and Braxton Stone of Forsyth; mother: Rebecca "DeeDee" Gaskins of Forsyth; brother: Chris (Candice) Gaskins of Navarro Beach, FL; grandson: Maverick Smart; nephew: Dalton Gaskins.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
