Reva Leland Rice, 98, of Ray City, died Wednesday April 17, 2019 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

He was born June 7, 1920 in Clinch County to the late William Matthew Rice and the late Deliah Jane Lee Rice. He was a retired farmer, member First Baptist Church of Ray City, Navy Veteran WWII and a member of the Nashville Post VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife: Minnie Lee Permenter Rice who died in 2005 and 3 brothers: Alvis Rice, Reavis Rice and Perry Rice.

He is survived by 4 sons: Wendell Rice of Gray, Tommy (Lynn) Rice of Ray City, Larry (Sheila) Rice of Ray City and Steve (Mim) Rice of Ray City; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren;  numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday April 20, 2018 at 11 AM in the Beaver Dam cemetery with the Rev. Robbie Peay officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 7 to 9 PM.
