Rhonda Lynn Hendrix, 58, of Statenville died Saturday April 9, 2016 in South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born January 27, 1958 in Lowndes County to the late Ronald Gaskins and Bonnie Vickers Gaskins. She was a homemaker, a retired administrative assistant with the Lowndes County Sheriff Office and a member of Redland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son: Gerad Phillip Hendrix.
She is survived by her husband: Phillip "Butch" Hendrix of Statenville; 2 daughters: Erin Lynn (Dan)Wardwell of Clyattville and Amanda Kaye Hendrix of Valdosta; son: Bradley Walter (Danielle) Hendrix of Lake Park; mother: Bonnie Gaskins of Lake Park; 4 grandchildren: Austen Crews, Haley Tompkins, Braden Hendrix, and Caden Hendrix; 2 sisters: Pam (Talley) Dasher of Lake Park and Renalda (John) Bush of Lake Park; 2 brothers: Archie Gaskins ( Michael O'Brien) ,Tampa, FL and Ron (Michelle) Gaskins of Nashville, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Watkins officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Paron Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 pm.
