Richard "Rickey" Eston Giddens, 59, of Ray City died Tuesday April 12, 2016 in South Georgia Medical Center.

He was born February 21, 1957 in Berrien County to the late Eston Giddens and the late Carolyn Sirmans Giddens. He was retired from the City of Nashville having worked with the Street Dept., Recreation Dept. and the Sanitation Dept. He also worked for the Berrien County Road Department and attended the Ray City United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother: Neil Giddens.

He is survived by a sister: Brenda (Carroll) Exum of Ray City; brother: Wayne (Barbara) Giddens of Adel; 3 step sisters: Faye Arrowood of Ray City, Iris Stubbs of Ray City, and Chris Cribb of Ray City; 2 nieces: Terri Giddens of Valdosta and Sheri (John) Ballmann of Eagan, MN; 3 nephews: Brent (Laura) Exum of Adel, Trent (Caroline) Exum of Adel, and Robert (Melissa) Giddens of Nashville; several great nieces and great nephews, many special friends and especially the Produce Corner.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 15, 2016 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Mitchell, Mr. James Cooper and Mr. Billy Creech officiating. Interment will follow in New Ramah Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
