Richard Delano "Ricky" Royals, 56, of Nashville died Wednesday June 15, 2011 at his residence.

He was born December 11, 1954 in Hahira, Georgia to the late Winston Delano Royals and the late Mary Nell Gaskins. He was employed with DCA in Adel as a patient care technician (PCT) and had been employed with the City of Adel. He was a member of the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister: Marsha (Dr. Ricky) Rowe of Quitman; brother: Jeffery (Paula) Royals of Adel; 2 nephews: Rhett (Kate) Rowe and Josh Royals; 2 nieces: Lauren Rowe and Hope (Jason) Dent.
Funeral services will be held Saturday June 18, 2011 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. J.W. Dukes III officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday from 9 AM until hour of services. In lieu of flowers make contributions to the: Southeastern Kidney Council (1000 St. Albans Drive, Suite 270 Raleigh, NC 27609).
