Richard "Rickey" Johnson Vaughn, 77, of Enigma died Thursday February 16, 2017 at his residence.
He was born December 23, 1939 in Ray City to the late Henry Vaughn and the late Emma Katherine Warr Vaughn. He was a retired truck driver for Chaparral and worked with Cole's Automotive Shop. After he retired, he worked and rode with his son-in-law, Gary. He served in the U.S. Navy and was preceded in death by a brother: Bob Vaughn.
He is survived by his wife: Sandra Vaughn of Enigma; 2 daughters: Ann (Gary) Dorminey of Enigma and Terri (Laran) Stone of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Courtney Nelson, Cass Dorminey, Jake Stone, Hannah Moore and Curry Dorminey; 10 great grandchildren; sister: Nancy Cole of Tifton; brother: Vernon Brown Vaughn of Ellijah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 18, 2017 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
