Richard Wayne "Ricky" Lane, 63, of Nashville died Saturday December 5, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 25, 1957 in Plant City, FL to the late Melvin Lane and the late Dell Smith Lane.  He was the owner and operator of Aggie Transport. He loved his family and was known as a straight shooter.  He was preceded in death by three brothers: Randall, Tommy and Benny Lane.

He is survived by his wife and soulmate: Patricia Ann "Trisha" Lane of Nashville; two daughters: Stephanie (Darren) Hardman of Adel and Taylor (Robert Oblisk) Sumner of Nashville; three sisters: Helen (Charles) Bristol of Nashville, Barbara Gorges of Blue Ridge and Shirley Rogers of Nashville; eight grandchildren: Cody (Megan) Hardman, Wade (Allie) Gilliard, Payton (Cameron Rowe) Gilliard, Dalton Hardman, Tyler Patterson, Devon Hardman, Zoey Sumner and Lane Sumner; great grandson: Krew Gilliard; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating.  Interment will follow in Cat Creek Cemetery.  Visitation is Monday 6 to 8 PM.
