Rita Evelyn Bennefield's Obituary
Rita Bennefield, 80, of Ray City, died Wednesday February 2, 2011 at her residence. She was preceded in death by a son: Raymond Bennefield and a sister: Elizabeth Wallace.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Joan (Allen) Royals of Ray City, and Maxine (Tim) Hawkins of Ray City; 5 sons: Gene (Margaret) Bennefield of Ashville, AL, Wesley (Cathie) Bennefield of Ray City, Terry (Linda) Bennefield of Ray City, Wayne (Anita) Bennefield of Castleberry, Fl, and Tonie (Karen) Bennefield of Ray City; sister: Effie Mae Roberts of Valdosta, brother: J.D. Cone of Ray City, 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 5, 2011 at 2 PM in the Ray City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Mitchell, Rev. Wayne Bennefield, and the Rev. Debbie Cone officiating. Interment will follow in New Ramah Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 7 to 9 PM.
