Robert Wayne Brady, 77, of Alapaha, died Sunday August 17, 2025, at his residence.

He was born January 25, 1948 in Cook County to the late James Ernest Brady and the late Isabell Lane Brady. He was a retired mechanic with Nashville Mills for over 30 years and was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and coaching sports with BCRA. He was the widower of Annetta Carol Benton Brady who died in 2018 and was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Vivian Brady.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Barbara (David) Gleason of Ray City and Brandi Hall of Nashville; 4 sons: Dennis Brady (Sissy McReynolds) of Newport, TN, Scotty (Lisa) Brady of Nashville, Chris (Donna) Brady of Nashville and Jake (Mindy) Brooks of Teeterville; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; brother: Carlton Brady of Nashville; mother of his children Susan Jones of Tifton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 20,2025, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Dukes III and Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
