Robert "Buddy" Jackson Wilson, 80, of Alapaha died Wednesday November 26, 2014 at his residence.

He was born May 3, 1934 in Tampa, FL to the late John Platt Wilson and the late Lola Dowling Wilson. He was a retired quality control supervisor with IMC Rainbow, a member of The Bridge Church and served in the Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife: Lynda Matthews Wilson of Alapaha; 4 sons: Robert J. Wilson, Jr. of Dekalb, TX, John Malcolm Wilson of Riverview, FL, Johnny Wayne Lloyd of Land-O-Lakes, FL, and Daniel Patrick Lloyd of Brooksville, FL; a sister: Kathy Hartley of Blairsville; 5 grandchildren: Joshua, Rebekah, Rachael, Jonah, and Hannah.

The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held on Monday December 1, 2014 at 1 PM in The Bridge Church with Rev. Robbie Rowe officiating.
