Robert Earl Harper, 61, of Nashville, died Saturday January 12, 2013 in the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville.
He was born January 25, 1951 in Berrien County to the late Mack Harper and the late Rebecca Rowe. He was a mechanic and a painter. He was in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Ruby Nell and Maxine Harper; brother: Leroy Harper.
He is survived by his wife: Laurie Rendon Harper of Nashville; 3 daughters: Rhonda Kay Harper, Teresa Harper of North Carolina, and Rebecca Delaney of Tifton; 3 sons: Bobby Harper, Dennis Thomas Delaney, Jr of Sparks, and Justin Harper of Teeterville; 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Betty Barker Collins of Nashville and Bonnie (Neal) Watson of Tifton; brother: Marshall (Lynn) Harper of Valdosta.
The family will honor his request for cremation and there will be no formal service.
