Robert Hugh "Bob" Parramore, 82, of Adel, died Monday August 14, 2017 at his residence.
He was born February 11, 1935 in Berrien County to the late Thomas Fain Parramore and the late Mildred Paul Parramore. He was a retired MSGT flight engineer with the United States Air Force with 20 years service and of the Baptist faith. During his service, he was in Vietnam for 2 years and served many tours in European countries. He was the widower of Mae Joyce Wilkes Parramore who died on June 18, 2014 and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ronald Parramore and Thomas Parramore.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Margaret (Wayne) Clements of West Berrien and Kimberly (Ronnie) Pearson of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Robert (Melissa) Clements of Hahira, Chris Davis of Adel, Ryan Pearson, Leiann Pearson, Ron Pearson and Erica Pearson all of Nashville; sister: Margaret Gardner of Kansas City, MO; brother: Marcus Parramore of Parsippany , NJ.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 18, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Skip Van Nus officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service.
