Obituary

Robert Lawson "Bob" Puckett, 81, of Nashville died Wednesday June 27, 2018 at his residence.

He was born February 26, 1937 in Banner Elk, NC to the late James "Jim" Puckett and the late Beulah Townsend Puckett. He was a retired  SMSgt U.S. Airfoce having spent 22 years in aircraft maintenance and civil engineering and also retired from Civil Service at Moody Air Force Base as the Quality Assurance Evaluator for Grand Bay Bombing Range.  He served 2 tours in Vietnam; he was also stationed in Turkey, Okinawa and Moody AFB twice.  He was a member of Hope Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: James and Wayne Puckett; and a cousin who was like a brother: Kenneth Ramsey.

He is survived by his wife: Anaise Espey Bridges Puckett of Nashville; 2 sons: Rob (Dlorah) Puckett of Guam and James Puckett of Nashville; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held July 9, 2018 at 6 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Calvin officiating. Visitation will be Monday July 2, 2018 6-8 PM.
