Robert "Bob" Edward Rushing, 85 of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2:30 pm at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Wichita Falls under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Bob was born Thursday, July 20, 1939, in Lakeland, Georgia. He was the son of the late Robert Enman Rushing and the late Beulah Howard Rushing. He married Patsy Lou Hearn on November 16, 1962, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was a member of the U.S. Navy for twenty two years. He retired from the Navy in 1980 as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a member of the Vernon Masonic Lodge where he was a past Worshipful Master. He was also a member of the VFW, York Rite Bodies, and Faith United Methodist Church.

Bob is survived by his three sisters, Frances Cannon of Sparks, Georgia, Elizabeth Starling of Nashville, Georgia and Judy Johnson of Nashville, Georgia.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Rushing, his two sons, Robert M. Rushing and John Hearn Rushing, and his daughter, Rebecca Ann Rushing.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home from 1:30 pm until funeral services begin.
