Roger Edgar Connell, 77, of the West Berrien Community, died Sunday December 8, 2019 at the SGMC-Berrien Campus.

He was born May 24, 1942 in Cook County to the late Walter Edgar Connell and the late Lethel Chaney Connell. He was a retired building contractor and a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Kathryn "Kathy" Carter Connell of West Berrien; daughter: Kathryn Yvonne (Myron) Thomas of Callahan, FL; 2 sons: Roger Dane Connell of Jacksonville, FL and Robert (Christy) Connell of Jacksonville, FL; 6 grandchildren: Kenton, Konnor, Cassidy, Carsen, Hannah and Carter; 4 great grandchildren: Kade, Karver, Bly and Ace.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 11, 2019 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Vickers Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
