Ronald Lee Dixon, 81, of Nashville, died Thursday August 17, 2023 in the Landale Hospice House.

He was born November 25, 1941 in Cook County to the late Robert Lee Dixon and the late Antoinette Swint Dixon. He was a retired loom mechanic with Nashville Mills for 30 years and a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son: Michael Dixon; 3 brothers: Robert Earl Dixon, Homer Dixon and Marvin Dixon.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Elrod Dixon of Nashville; daughter: Anna Hall of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Matthew Ray of Nashville and Michaela (Jake) Hall of Larco, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday August 21, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Keffer officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nashville First Baptist Church.
