Ronald Paul Exum, 56, of Valdosta, died Sunday June 8, 2014 at his residence.
He was born April 19, 1958 in Berrien County to the late Paul Junior Exum and Ernestine Hall. He was a truck driver, a member of Hope Baptist Church and President of Ashley House Tenant Association for 3 years. He was preceded in death by his wife: Shirley Groves Exum and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Vernon Exum and Talmadge Exum.
He is survived by his mother: Ernestine Exum of Brookfield; 3 sisters: Sarah (Tommy) Sumner of Brookfield, Carolyn Verenakis of Brookfield, and Linda Browning of Valdosta; brother: James (Donna) Exum of Hahira; several nieces and nephews; special friend: Martha Gay of Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Sumner officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 until 9 PM.
