Ronald Winston Rowe, 64, of Alapaha, died Tuesday February 18, 2014 at his residence.
He was born November 22, 1949 in Alma, Georgia to the late Winston Rowe and the late Grace Lee Moore. He was a farmer and owner of Rowe Trucking Company. He was a member of the Alapaha Baptist Church, attended The Bridge Church and was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Renee Michelle Rowe who died in 1974.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Griffin Rowe of Alapaha; 2 daughters: Monica (Russ) Davis of Tifton and Melissa (Kris) Murphy of Chula; son: Robby (Keri) Rowe of Alapaha; 9 grandchildren: Chandler, Kirsten, Griffin, Hayden, Jenna, Bryce, John, Cole and Hannah Grace.
Funeral services will be held Thursday February 20, 2014 at 11 AM in The Bridge Church with the Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Rowetown Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to The Bridge Church.
