Ronald Stephens, 73, of Pearson, died Friday February 11, 2022, at the residence of his daughter in Nashville.

He was born January 12, 1949 in Atkinson County to the late John Stephens and the late Ruth Davis Stephens. He retired from the orange groves in Oakland, FL, where he worked for the McKinnon Company for many years. He loved fishing, cutting grass and adored his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter: Rebecca Stephens; 2 sisters: Beatrice Beverly and Evelyn Beverly; 5 brothers: Elton Stephens, John Stephens, Russell Stephens, Dempsey Stephens and Buck Stephens.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Reynolds Stephens of Pearson; 3 daughters: Lisa (Wayne) Johnson of Nashville, Teresa Stephens (Anthony Snowman) of Clermont, FL and Rhonda Stephens of Nashville; son: Ronald (Ashli) Stephens, Jr of Nashville; 4 sisters: Linda Staggs of Florida, Joyce Wilkerson of Douglas, Patty McCoy of South Carolina and Mert Casselman of North Carolina; brother: Donald Stephens of Valdosta; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

His family will honor his request for cremation. A visitation will be held Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 5 to 6 PM in the funeral home.
