Ronda Rowan Rockwell, 58, of Valdosta, died Saturday January 30, 2021 at her residence.

She was born July 20, 1962 in Tift County to the late Alton Henry Rowan and the late Audrey Wynell "Nell" Moore Rowan. She was employed with SGMC in medical transcription and was a cosmetologist for a number of years. She received her business degree from VSU and her cosmetologist degree from Valdosta Technical College. She was a member of Glory Church and was preceded in death by her sister: Gwen McCranie, brother: Michael Rowan and a brother-in-law: Mike McCranie.

She is survived by her daughter: Sara Kathryn LeGette of Valdosta; 2 sisters: Kathi (Dewitt) Wright of Valdosta and Fonda Rowan of Athens; niece: Audrey Wright; 3 nephews: Kyle McCranie, Blake McCranie and Jared (Taylor) Wright; great nephew: Grayson Wright.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday February 2, 2021 at 11 AM in the Glory Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Hauser officiating. Visitation will be in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society or Glory Church.
