Ronnie Lewis Skinner, 54, of Nashville, died Tuesday July 14, 2015 in South Georgia Medical Center.

He was born December 5, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Curtis Skinner and the late Sue Smith Skinner. He was a painter 1 at Valdosta State University where he loved his job and his coworkers. He also loved spending time with his friends, children, grandchildren and especially his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Sandi O'Berry Skinner of Nashville; son: Ron (Erin) Skinner of Nashville; daughter: Kellie Skinner of Nashville; 6 grandchildren: Scotty Skinner, Brock Skinner, Brooke Skinner, CJ Wheeler, Cheyenne Wheeler and Kyleigh Wheeler all of Nashville; 3 sisters: Katherine Barker of Valdosta, Donna Lolley of Nashville, and Marsha Rollins of Nashville ; 3 brothers: Gerald Skinner of Nashville, Dennis Skinner of Nashville, and Curt Skinner of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 17, 2015 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Riley O'Berry, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 PM.
