Roy Marvin James, age 81 of Nashville, died Saturday March 26 in the Berrien County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jean "Betty" James who died in 2005.

Survivors include a daughter, Joni Tygart of Nashville; 2 sons, Tony James of Atlanta and Scott James of Nashville; 2 sisters, Mazella Bennett and Mary Ruth Medley of Nashville; brother, Everett James of Lenox; 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 29 at 10:30 am in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaskins cemetery.

Visitation is Monday 7-9 pm at the funeral home.

Memorials are requested to Berrien Health Advocates, Flat Creek Baptist Church or the Carrie Dorsey Perry Memorial Library.
