Obituary

Ruby Cooper, 92, of Nashville died Monday March 14, 2011 in the Berrien County Hospital.

She was born March 2, 1919 in Berrien County to the late Marcus Griner and the late Rhoda Flanders. She was a homemaker, a Jehovah Witness, and the widow of Dewey Cooper.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Dorothy Lopez of Ray City, Doris (Dan) Booth of Ray City , and Joyce (Larry) Booth of Nashville; 2 sons: Dewey (Virginia) Cooper, Jr of Nashville, and Jackie (Bobbie Nell) May of New Albany, IN; step daughter: Jo (Bobby)Sanders of Valdosta; step son: Johnny (Betty) Cooper of Orlando, FL; 2 brothers: Luther (Jane) Griner of Jasper, FL and Ernest (Iris) Griner of Bushnell, FL; 19 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a step son: James Cooper, a brother: Ralph Griner, and a sister: Allie Mae Cason.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 16, 2011 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Riverside cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM.
