Ruby Ruth Flowers, 81, of Nashville, died Tuesday April 7, 2015 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 11, 1933 in Canton, Georgia to the late Arthur Alonzo Harbin and the late Dorothy Hasty Harbin. She served as a military wife for 23 years, worked for Tifton Aluminum, Nashville Textile and for over 18 years managed Pine Acres Apartments. She was the widow of Eurey Flowers and attended Nashville First United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Louise Wilcox and 3 brothers: Sam Harbin, Glenn Harbin and Mel Harbin.
She is survived by 2 sons: Mike (Marilyn) Flowers of Nashville and Mark (Wilma) Flowers of Nashville; 2 sisters: Betty (John) Erickson of Nashville and Nell (Wic) Erickson of Nashville; brother, Clarence Harbin of Brunswick; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will honor her request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Saturday April 11, 2015 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Caring Place in Nashville.
