Ruby Lee Sutton Lovett, 100, of Valdosta, formerly of West Berrien, died Wednesday March 23, 2016 at her residence.

She was born February 8, 1916 in Berrien County to the late George Newton Sutton and the late Callie Ann Giddens Sutton. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Lovett who died in 1980 and a son, Dewayne Lovett who died in 1985.

She is survived by her son: Leroy Lovett of West Berrien; 2 daughters, Faye McClellan of South Carolina and Melba Doris Baker of Valdosta; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Black officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 until 8 PM.
