Glendon Russell “Russ” Harrell, 41, of Alapaha, died Sunday, November 1, 2026, at his residence.

He was born January 23, 1985, in Lanier County to Russell Alan Harrell and Cathy Ann Stone Harrell. He was employed as a salesman with Volume Powersports in Tifton and Valdosta. He loved his family, Jesus, fishing, hunting and racing. He was a member of Glory Church and was preceded in death by his grandparents: Russell and Beverly Harrell, Albert and Annie Stone; uncle: Jamie Stone.

He is survived by his daughter: Ryleigh Harrell of Alapaha; father and mother: Alan and Cathy Harrell of Alapaha; brother: Lance (Savannah) Harrell of Alapaha; mother of his daughter: Jessica Harrell of Alapaha; niece and nephew: Karleigh and Kyler; 2 special daughters: Laykn and River Harrell of Alapaha; aunts and uncles: Shannon and Robert Phelps of Enigma, Cheryl and Robbie Lee of Edgewater, FL, Dana Cheshire of Alapaha, Mike (Marilyn) Harrell of Nashville, Wanda Stone of Lakeland; numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Glory cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
