Sadie Hughes' Obituary
Sadie Hughes, 81, of Jacksonville, FL, died Sunday October 6, 2013 at the Lanier Manor Care Center in Jacksonville, FL.
She was born November 23, 1931 in Lowndes County to the late Eddie Hughes and the late Clyde Green. She was a homemaker and retired sales clerk. She was a member of the Regency Baptist Temple in Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Catherine Hughes and Maxine Harris.
She is survived by her sister: Gwynette Sandlin of Lake Park; brother: Eddie Murel Hughes of Lake Park; special cousin: Leona Stanley of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday October 9, 2013 at 11 AM in the Carter Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Flowers officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
