Sandra Kay Parrish,76, of Alapaha, died Tuesday April 16, 2024 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 20, 1947 in Tift County to the late Lawton McMillan and the late Leola Luke McMillan. She retired from Nashville Mills, worked with L&M Bagging Co. in Willacoochee and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a brother: Quincy McMillan.

She is survived by her daughter: Tonya Parrish of Alapaha; son: Rusty Whittington of Tennessee; grandson: Justin Whittington (Renea Holloway); 2 great grandchildren; sister: Shirley (Walt) Durden of Alapaha; 4 brothers: Danny (Dianne) McMillan of Alapaha; Bill McMillan of Jacksonville, FL, Perry (Marianne) McMillan of Ocala, FL and James (Jana) McMillan of Lake Park; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday April 19, 2024 at 11 AM in the St. Luke cemetery with the Rev. Michael Bennett officiating. Visitation is Friday in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.
