Sara Melba Harnage, 76, of Kill Devil Hills, NC (formerly of Nashville) died Monday June 20, 2011 in North Carolina.
She was born August 21, 1934 in Berrien County to the late Manning Griner and the late Fannie Stanford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Chester Harnage, Jr and was also preceded in death by a sister and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her son: David F. (Twila) Harnage of Kill Devil Hills, NC; grandchildren: Ryan and Erin Harnage, Nick and Keli Harnage all of Chesapeake, VA; 4 great grandchildren: Ashlynn, Kourtney, Katelyn, and Matthew; sister: Irene Selph of Nashville; 2 brothers: Cecil Griner of Nashville and Harold Griner of Tifton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 29, 2011 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
