Sara Lucile Sellars, 92, of Nashville, died Tuesday August 25, 2020 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born March 5, 1928 in Berrien County to the late Carlie Durrance and the late Lillie Mae Connell. She was a homemaker and retired as a training supervisor with Levi Strauss after 41 years of service. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church, the Joyful Heart Sunday School class, the V.F.W. Auxillary and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Daniel Nelms, Ray Huffman and John Lamar Sellars; 2 sons: Mickey Nelms and Gary Nelms; step mother: Victoria Howard Durrance.

She is survived by her daughter: Teresa Miller of Nashville; son: Gene (Becky) Nelms of Germantown, TN; 2 daughters-in-law: Linda Nelms  and Susan Nelms both of Nashville; 2 brothers: Carroll Durrance  and Leon Durrance both of Nashville; 3 sisters: Christine Shellhouse of Oxford, Willene Kalick of Tucson, AZ and Martha Nell Dalhouse of Metarie, LA; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday August 27, 2020 at 5:30 PM in the Westview Cemetery with  Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
