Sara Welch, 53, of Nashville, died Friday April 18, 2014 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

She was born October 31, 1960 in Decatur County to the late J.C. King and the late Erodis Burkhalter. She was a homemaker and was employed with 3 Guys Shell. She was a member of Alapaha Community Church of God.

She is survived by her husband: Johnny Welch of Nashville; daughter: Sara Jean Busby of Nashville; 2 sons: Jason King of Nashville and Johnny Welch, Jr of Nashville; 4 sisters: Virginia Morris of Bainbridge, Delores Ritter of Bainbridge, Katie Connell of Nashville and Joyce Thompson of Nashville; 2 brothers: Willie Sampson of Perry, FL and Jesse King of Nashville; 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday from 9 AM until hour of services
