Sharon Whitley, 69, of Alapaha, died Sunday June 13, 2021 at her residence.

She was born January 26, 1952 in Romulus, NY to the late Patsey Gandiana and the late Doris Thompson Gandiana. She was a retired 5 ^th and 6 ^th grade teacher with the Berrien County Board of Education, where she served for over 30 years. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her favorite hobbies were shopping and crochet. She was preceded in death by a brother: Dominic Gandiana.

She is survived by her husband: Terrell  Whitley of Alapaha; 3 daughters: Candi (Russ) McClellan of Alapaha; Niki Whitley of Perry and Dorrie Whitley of Alapaha; sister: Jo (Gene) Golden of Lakeland; 2 brothers: Win Gandiana and Phil Gandiana both of Live Oak, FL; 6 grandchildren: Jeremy (Hilary) Willis, Whitley (Bryan) Royals, Kenny Wilson, Krista Wilson, Kiersten Wilson and Kyler Boyd; 4 great grandchildren: Brylee Royals, Wren Royals, Jude Willis and Paisley Fountain; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Her family will honor her wishes for cremation and her request was not to have a formal service.
