Shelley Lynn Newsome, 62, of Nashville, died Tuesday February 9, 2016 in the South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born April 13, 1953 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She was a homemaker, waitress with O'Neal's for several years and a Jehovah Witness.
She is survived by her husband: Sammy Newsome of Nashville; 2 daughters: Leslie Sterling and Lisa Sterling both of California; son: Laron Sterling of California; mother: Audrea Sterling of California; 2 sisters: Renda and Carrie of California; 4 brothers: Mark, Joel, Keith and Terry all of California; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Map of Valdosta, Johnnie Mae Brand of Nashville, Debra Newsome of Nashville and Dianne Newsome of Nashville; 6 brothers-in-law: Isaac Newsome of Valdosta, James Newsome Nashville, Claude Newsome of Tifton, Richard Newsome of Hinesville, Larry Newsome of Homerville and Jerry Newsome of Nashville.
The family will honor her request for cremation and there will be no formal service.
