Sherer Elaine Boyd, 74, of Nashville, died Thursday January 13, 2022 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 8, 1947 in Berrien County to the late James Cason and the late Lee Tyson Cason.  She worked at Nashville Textile and attended Long Bridge Church/ The Connection. She was preceded in death by a step daughter: Wanda Jean Boyd; 2 brothers: James Cason and Raymond Cason.

She is survived by her husband: Wesley Jordan "WJ" Boyd of Nashville; son: Wesley Boyd of Nashville; step son: Tony Boyd of Nashville; 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday January 17, 2022 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the service.
