Sherman Morley Charlton, 89, of Nashville died Saturday August 29, 2020 at Langdale Hospice in Valdosta.

He was born January 31, 1931 in Pottsdam, NY to the late Morley Dewitt Charlton and the late Frances Alice Beatrice Dake Charlton.  He was a design electronic engineer and served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a son: Randall Charlton.

He is survived by his wife: Bobbie Godwin Charlton of Nashville; two daughters: Betty Jane Charlton of Springhill. FL and Theresa Kyle of Daytona Beach, FL; three son: David Charlton of Rockford, FL, Shawn Charlton of Springhill, FL and James Edward Eubanks of Adel; three grandsons and one great granddaughter.

The family will honor his request for cremation and no formal services are planned at this time.
