Sherry Lynn Cumbus, 62, of Ray City died Sunday September 29, 2019 in Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 1, 1957 in Berrien County to the late Vernon Durrance and the late Edna Lloyd Durrance.  She was a homemaker and employed as the Deli Manager at Harvey's Grocery Store.  She was a member of New Covenant in Ray City.  She was preceded in death by two brothers: Milton Pope and Joe Collier; sister: Margaret Smith.

She is survived by her husband: David Cumbus of Ray City; 2 daughters: Tina Boggs of Statesboro and Becky (Randy) Pritt Kelley of Nashville; 2 sons: Jason Pritt of Nashville and Cory Cumbus of Ray City; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Rudy (Sandra) Pope of Bruce, MS and Robert (Janice) Pope of Macon.

The family will honor her request for cremation.  A visitation will be held Tuesday 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
