Our beautiful sister, Shirley Ann Myers,76, of Atlanta, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family offering her prayers, music and comfort.

Shirley’s life was filled with love, warmth and a lot of laughter. She was a source of encouragement and support for her family and friends, whom were her greatest joy. She will always be remembered smiling and laughing, always making moments special for everyone around her. If you mentioned Elvis or his music came on, she was particularly joyful.

Shirley is survived by her brother: William R. (Cindy) Myers, Jr; sister: Linda Myers (Paul) Ferrante; 4 nephews: Joey, William, Andy and Micah; 3 nieces: Christina, Erika and Keturah; 6 great nieces: Starr, Samantha, Isabella, Clara, Vivienne and Avreigh; 2 great nephews: Joey and Bobby; 3 great-great nieces and nephews: Hannah, Josh and Elias; 5 great-great step niece and nephews: Shawna, Toby, Braxston, Odin and Daxson; many dear cousins and close friends. Dear sweet Shirley, you are missed and we love you.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2 PM in the Bennett Family cemetery with the Rev. Sarah Faulkner officiating. Visitation is thirty minutes prior to the service in the cemetery.
