Shirley Ann Nelms, 76, died Tuesday September 30, 2014 in Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.
She was born August 5, 1938 in Berrien County to the late Clinton Albert Cersey and the late Eunie Griffin Cersey. She was a homemaker, retired as a supervisor from Nashville Textile and a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of Thomas Junior Nelms who died in 2010.
She is survived by her daughter: Bonnie Nelms Bush of Nashville; a son: Tommy (Susan) Nelms of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Alisha (Rodney) Sirmans, Chad (Amanda) Nelms, Brandon Bush and Courtney Nelms; 5 great grandchildren: Kyle, Carlileigh, Lee, Elly and Case; 2 brothers: Albert (Loretha) Cersey of Nashville and Homer (Ethel) Cersey of Carrollton.
Funeral services will be held Friday October 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Stalvey, Rev. Scotty Mathis and the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 7-9 PM.
