Alfred William "Skip" Edmonds, 75, of Nashville, died Sunday August 7, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 12, 1946 in Red Bank, NJ to the late Bill Bacon and the late Eleanor Eckman. He was an engineer with Chaparral Boats for 43 years, an avid deep-sea fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by a brother: William Alfred Edmonds.

He is survived by his wife: Jane Edmonds of Nashville; daughter: Cindy (John) Vanlandingham of Nashville; son: John (Eileen) Huston of Antioch, IL; 5 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kaleigh) Vanlandingham of Valdosta, Samantha Vanlandingham of Statesboro, Mary (Logan Balkcom) Vanlandingham of Nashville, Michael Huston of Antioch, IL and Marc Huston of Antioch, IL; sister: Carol Chadwick of Nashville.

The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday August 10, 2022 at 5 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
