Steven Eugene "Steve" Bacon, 60, of Nashville, died Thursday December 30, 2021 at SGMC Berrien Campus.

He was born June 17, 1961 in Berrien County to the late Bobby Eugene Bacon and Sharon Gail Beasley Nix. He was the manager at Lake Lewis Restaurant and member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. He enjoyed walking the fields, searching for arrowheads, fishing, an avid antique collector and refurnishing furniture. He loved being with his friends and always doing for others.

He is survived by his mother: Gail Milligan (Bob) Nix of Nashville; 2 sisters: Michelle (Kevin) Gugino of Nashville and Christina Christian of Nashville; partner: Phillip Lloyd of Nashville; niece: Alexis; 3 nephews: Kody, John and Nicholas; 2 great nieces: Mya and Wednesday; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday January 3, 2022 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. David Akins officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the service.
